Raluca Lixandru is a Pediatric Specialist working in Brasov, Romania at the Clinical Childrens Hospital - Emergency Department. She is a PhD student and works part time at the Faculty of Medicine, Transylvania University. 

During her residency she was trained in Romania, Israel and The Netherlands. Her main interests are respiratory infections and vaccine-preventable diseases. She has been ESPID Country Representative (2015-2018), Member of ESPID Committee For Education (2017-2019) and is currently Young ESPID Board representative (2021-2024).
