Adam Finn is Professor of Paediatrics at Bristol Medical School, Co-Lead of the Infection and Immunity Research Network, University of Bristol and an honorary consultant in paediatric infectious diseases and immunology at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. He is Clinical Research Lead - Children, Genetics, Haematology, Reproductive Health and Childbirth for the NIHR Clinical Research Network: West of England and heads the Bristol Children's Vaccine Centre. His main research activities relate to upper respiratory tract mucosal immunology and microbiology relating to bacterial and viral vaccines and their indirect effects and clinical trials of vaccines and medicines in children. He a member of the UK national advisory committee on vaccines (JCVI) and Chairs the WHO Euro Region Technical Advisory Group of Experts. Until May 2019 he will be President of ESPID.
